Cooking Club was a fun experience to learn about what you need to stay healthy, how much you need to eat, and more. Ms. Rasheeda taught me a lot about eating healthy and made sure that I was comfortable mentally and physically. I enjoyed the Cooking Club because it was a space where I felt comfortable enough with my friends to discuss new recipes and more. She taught us that just because you don’t feel full doesn’t mean to eat more. She also taught me how to embrace new foods because I’m a picky eater; she tried to expand my taste buds. I loved the Cooking Club and always will thanks to Ms. Rasheedat," said Makayla, age 18, graduating senior, a participant for three years.
